Silk and Paper art with Yara Sekiguchi – Talk and demonstration

Duration: 45 minutes to 1 hour 

During the presentation I will talk about myself and my art (both silk painting and miniature paper flowers). I will show a range of different techniques and materials. At the end of the talk I will request 2 volunteers and (with their help) show a quick technique on a silk handkerchief and demonstrate how the same technique will look so different (volunteers will be able to take their handkerchief home once dried). Question and answer session welcome.

I also set up a display table with my hand made items for purchasing. Special commissions are accepted.
